# Introduction to Website Recommendations
### What are Website Recommendations?
Raptor's Website Recommendations show each visitor the products and content most relevant to them, on every page of your website. Recommendations update in real time as visitors browse, so what they see always matches their current intentions.

### Recommendation strategies
A module is a recommendation strategy placed on a specific page, for example "Similar items" on the product page. Raptor offers 24 pre-built strategies. See [*Web modules: Recommendation Strategies*](https://content.raptorservices.com/help-center/recommendation-strategies-web?hsLang=en) to find the right ones for each page.
### Tracking
Tracking is what Raptor learns from. Add the tracking script to your website and send the default events: **Visit**, **Basket**, **Buy** and **ItemClick**, plus **ContentVisit** if you use content modules. Turn on your modules once tracking is in place. With live tracking only, modules need about a week of data before they perform well. Upload *historical purchase data* to get started right away.
### Feeds
A product catalog feed keeps product names, prices, images and links up to date, and lets Raptor leave out products that are no longer available. Feeds are set up in the **Data Manager**. ### Implementing Raptor Recommendations on your website
You fetch recommendations by calling the Raptor API from your website, in any programming language. Raptor returns the recommendations as data, not as a finished design, so you style the modules yourself to match your website. See *Calling the Raptor API*.
### Tuning parameters
Every module can be adjusted in the Control Panel, for example by changing weights, filtering out products or boosting selected items. See [*Module adjustment and tuning*](https://content.raptorservices.com/help-center/module-adjustment-and-tuning?hsLang=en).
### Know your business model
The right setup depends on how your customers shop.
- **B2C:** focus on personal offers, larger baskets and trending products.
- **B2B:** customers often come back to buy the same products. Highlight frequently purchased items, and introduce products they haven't discovered yet.
